EDDI Main Event
The main EDDI event, is on 29th January 2022 and is the finals day on which the works of the finalists will be shown, professionally filmed on-site, awards are presented and special acknowledgements made for those that have supported and contributed to the project and made this digital dance festival possible. The "Happy video" digi-dance and short film screenings will be held on 29th January 2022.
Meanwhile, EDDI will be offering special online dance workshops and tutorials from great dancers and choreographers from around the world. The workshops and tutorials will be in different levels: beginners to advance. Make sure you take advantage of them.

Inside the group, you will see some advance-level dance workshops taught by top choreographers from the around the world. You can avail them ALL FOR FREE!!!
We will be screening 10 amazing short dance films and some selected "happy dance" videos submitted from around the world.
At 19:00, we will have an online forum with dance community leaders and legends from around the world .
During the forum the audience can ask questions to our special guests. Subject: How can we (dancers & filmmakers) help and support each other during this delicate time.
The online Award Ceremony will take place after the online forum. The winners in the different categories and the overall Best Short film will be announced during the program

This is a dance performance on stage combined with digital technology.
It is primarily a dance show not a film show, so the focus is on the dance performance on stage. Digital technology such as video on screen, TRON-like LED-light suits, and other digital device, is only to enhance the dance performance. All props should be mobile for carry on to the stage. I.e. No props that will remain on stage and/or would cause disturbance to the next performance are allowed on stage.
Any dance style or musical genre is welcome. The show performance should have a duration of not more than 15 minutes and not less than 1 min & a half.

The Happy Digi-Dance Video contest and festival is now being held in conjunction with the Live Stage Show Performance part of the EDDI festivals next Autumn. All the entries so far have been evaluated, the the most deserving entries are being carried forward to the event next Autumn. Please watch the main event on Saturday 30.1. for more information.
