Video FORMATS
Theme: The HAPPIEST DANCE VIDEO
Exclusive video footage from mobile phone only.
The mobile phone’s brand and model used for filming/video footage must be written in the submission. For example: iPhone 11 Pro Max, Samsung. Huawei, etc.
Max length 55 seconds only. The video which evokes the happiest emotions wins. It can be a funny blooper, comedic on purpose, or anything that makes people happy.
All dance styles are welcome. Any music genre is acceptable. Music mix is allowed. The dance and the video quality will be equally considered.
Raw videos and edited are both acceptable. The dance and dancer's attire must be wholesome and family-friendly.
Submission fee is not refundable. Once a video is submitted, it may not be withdrawn for any reason. If the submitter decides to withdraw the submitted video, there is no refund. Submission fee has to be paid at the point of submission.
COPYRIGHT LICENSE & USAGE PERMISSIONS
The submitter takes full responsibility concerning all the legal rights of the video. This includes but not limited to: the music copyright, video copyright, parent’s consent to minors, Appearance release rights, and anything relevant.
The submitter gives the right and permission to the organisers of Espoo Digi-Dance International to use the video, in part or full, and broadcast it in public through various channels including online (i.e. social media) before, during and after the event and anything related to the event for promotional purposes.
The submitter agrees that excerpts from the entry and all publicity material submitted can be used for promotional purposes on radio, television, in print, web and at live events.

Entry Terms & Conditions
Film FormatS
Films must not be more than three (3) years old and have no prior released versions on Social Media or other public video platforms: Youtube, Vimeo, etc. Submission fee is not refundable. Once a film is submitted, it may not be withdrawn for any reason. If the filmmaker decides to withdraw the submitted film, there is no refund. Submission fee has to be paid at the point of submission.
All films accepted to screen at the festival must be in PAL, DOLBY DIGITAL SOUND. Films accepted to screen at the festival must be submitted on a thumb drive and sent by mail. In addition, the submitter must provide a tracking number of the parcel and a link to a backup copy of the film online.
Due to theatre requirements, the theatre must have a physical copy of the film. EDDI does not mail back thumb drive or copies of the film unless a prepaid envelope has been received from the filmmaker. Thumb drives will be given back to filmmakers at the festival.

By submitting to Espoo Digi-Dance International (EDDI) we have the right to preview your film/video. If accepted, filmmaker must submit the film/video in the requested format.
Espoo Digi-Dance International (EDDI) holds the right to store (keep a copy) of the video file for Espoo Digi-Dance International archives. If accepted you fully grant EDDI the non-exclusive right, royalty-free and license to showcase this film or video during the Helsinki Education Film Festival International.
